Tesco has plans to open up over five hundred mobile phone stores throughout the UK. Do you feel this will have an adverse affect on high street retailers such as Phones 4 U and Carphone Warehouse, or will Tesco simply be aiming to get some more revenue from the footfall in their own stores?

Er, Tesco already sell mobile phones in their stores. Or do you mean they are planning to open a separate chain of stores that ONLY sells mobile phones?
If it’s the latter, then they will have an adverse effect on the established retailers if they are competitive on price. Otherwise, no.

Tesco is much like our walmart. They are lowballers they will sell their own mothers if the can make a penny.
