How can I use my fax machine without a phone line?

I have an all-in-one printer that can be networked wirelessly. I’d like to use the fax feature, but I no longer have a phone connection near enough. Is there something I can connect to the phone jack in the back of the printer so I can continue to use it as a fax machine or am I stuck using some kind of internet fax service and just giving up the fax feature on the printer?

You can’t use your fax machine without a phone like. That’s impossible.

No.Fax machines need direct telephone line so people outside could send data thru their phone line also.I guess you wont use fax within your LAN.

Except, if you have VOIP-enabled phone and join your fax machine on the network LAN and configure your router to send fax data to your all-in-one printer/fax machine.

If you really need to fax without having cables/connections then I highly recommend you use internet faxing. It is a lot cheaper and easy to use, you can try it out free for an entire month as well, check out http://onlinefaxfree.net/ the review the best services, I’ve been using internet faxing for over a year and it is amazing!
