I feel like I'm the driving force behind the communication between me and my boyfriend. Is this normal?

I am in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend is the kind of person who is better at action than words, whereas I am able to vocalise myself easily in emails. This makes me feel like I am the driving force behind our communication. Is this normal? I wouldn’t be able to make him vocalise on email because that’s his nature.

Where can I get a free virtual fax number?

I’ve searched online for this and most of the services say you don’t need a physical fax machine. But I’d like to find something that I CAN use with a real fax machine, so that when sending a fax, I don’t have to first scan it in.

I’m fine with receiving faxes via email if that is the only way to receive.

What is the best (most secure, easiest, cost effective) way to send a document from my email to a fax?

I have a printer/scanner/copier, but it is not a fax machine. I work from home a lot and have been told I can send an attachment through my email to a fax machine. I did look on the Internet but do not want to perform 100’s of these faxes, just occasionally.

Rethinking Mobile Email: IBM Research’s Mail Triage Project

Recognizing the changing demands of mobile computing, IBM Research unveiled a new email application prototype, created by researchers, to help mobile device users more effectively manage their email and tasks. Current mobile email clients are often just smaller versions of desktop clients and assume a user will open, read and respond to a message in the same manner they would on a desktop or laptop. But, in reality, mobile email usage differs greatly from desktop usage because of the environment and context in which it typically takes place. To help solve this common problem, computer scientists at IBM Research — Almaden are engaged in a research effort to redefine the mobile email user experience to more closely reflect how people work today. The IBM Mail Triage Project, rethinks the mobile email experience by allowing users to quickly “triage” their email and identify what needs immediate action and what can be handled later.

What type of mobile phone do you have?

I really hate how everyone has their heads buried in their phones these days – with cameras and email and everything on these tiny phones! I think a phone is a phone, and you should use it for making calls and sending texts. If you want to take pictures – get a descent camera! If you want to email – use a laptop. I think people spend far too much money on their phones.

I was wondering what phones you guys have and why?
