I have a printer/scanner/copier, but it is not a fax machine. I work from home a lot and have been told I can send an attachment through my email to a fax machine. I did look on the Internet but do not want to perform 100’s of these faxes, just occasionally.

How can I set this up? Is there any good FREE software that I can use to do this?

I have a new Brother fax machine. On my previous fax machine I dialed the number got it ready then it scanned the fax. I was able to use a PrePaid Phone card to send faxes. On this new fax machine, it scans the fax then dials the number. When the card is ready for my pin, the fax machine does not allow me to use the number buttons any longer. Is there a way to get around this?

I have a fax machine hooked up to a distinct ring phone number on my VoIP. I want to completely do away with my phone service since my cell phones work great where I’m at. My question is; is there a way to use my regular fax machine with my cable internet connection to send and receive faxes. I’d rather not use an email or other type of fax service.

I have a printer/scanner/fax machine at my home, and I sometimes use the fax machine on my home line to send faxes to local numbers. I don’t have long distance.
Will it cost money if I send a fax to an 1866 number? Can I even send one with a regular home line with no long distance?

We moved to a house and now have only one phone line. I would like to set up our fax/copier/printer so that I can send and receive faxes without having to move the plugs every time. I don’t need to be on the phone at the same time. Is there a way to do this? What happens if someone tries to call you at the same time that you are receiving a fax? Do you need any special equipment? Thanks for your help!
Can I convert an incoming fax using a telephone line to digital content?

I own a business and have a fax line that has been the same for years and I do not want to change it since everyone knows the number. However, I am not always in the office to receive important faxes.
Is it possible, or is there a program/device, that will receive the faxes via the phone line – using the existing number – and then convert them to digital content and send them to an email address automatically?
