With corporate executives already relying on mobile, it’s only a matter of time before most companies follow suit. Social media presents different challenges. Corporate executives aren’t adopting social media as quickly as they adopted mobile computing. Facebook, Twitter and other social media are frequently viewed as a waste of time for all but those designated to work on social media efforts. Here Chris Pitre of Idea talks about how mobile and social are changing the way we work. and how that ties into hiring and human resources.

NetTalk DUO VOIP setup, tips, saves $$$$$$

I though I make a video on my Nettalk Duo. It’s the best thing I ever purchased and I save $$$. I found this device offers exceptional calls at awesome price. Setup is very simple. It does have E911 different from the landline 911 service. Features that I use are call waiting, call ID just to name a few. Canada, long distance and local calls are free. No monthly bills. But there is a year fee around You will need a good high speed internet connection to use this device. You can also send and receive faxes without issues. No PC required but you can also setup to PC. First, you need to disconnect the outside phone jack before installing this device. Second, register the Nettalk online in order to use it. You will pick a phone # from there. See video for more setup and tips.

I’ve been geocaching for a week and currently use an iPhone with the geocaching app. It seems to go erratic when I get close to the cache in both distance and direction. Would a purpose built handheld gps be more accurate? Which device do you use?
