NetTalk DUO VOIP setup, tips, saves $$$$$$

I though I make a video on my Nettalk Duo. It’s the best thing I ever purchased and I save $$$. I found this device offers exceptional calls at awesome price. Setup is very simple. It does have E911 different from the landline 911 service. Features that I use are call waiting, call ID just to name a few. Canada, long distance and local calls are free. No monthly bills. But there is a year fee around You will need a good high speed internet connection to use this device. You can also send and receive faxes without issues. No PC required but you can also setup to PC. First, you need to disconnect the outside phone jack before installing this device. Second, register the Nettalk online in order to use it. You will pick a phone # from there. See video for more setup and tips.

I have a bt telephone account and broadband. Can I choose different telephone and broadband provider r?

I pay £65 a quarter for a landline and the same again for broadband. How complicated is it to change? I would also like to keep the number.

How can I use my computer as a landline telephone?

My office desk is starting to get really cluttered, and I really don’t have much use for my PCI modem, anymore. I was wondering if I could use the computer as a household telephone by using a headset speaker and microphone. I’m not referring to VOIP services such as Skype, but an actual landline telephone.

Is there any software available that can do this, and includes caller ID as well?

How does Home Broadband affect a landline?

I currently have T-Mobile mobile broadband and want to get home broadband. This is the first time getting home broadband and I wanted to know if broadband would affect the landline in any way.

Thanks :)

Do you have any experinece with talktalk landline and broadband?

I’m very disappointed with the services of Talk talk. I have ordered Talk talk service from May 2006: landline and "free" broadband. Landline just works (but if there is any problem – relay on God, there is no help!) Broadband is really nightmare! Keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes and there is nobody who can help you, only over the phone! There
your horror starts! You have to wait hours and listen to a terrific music before someone starts talking to you (you have to speak for short or long time explaining about your problems to probably all members of Talk talk and they will put you through to each other) and then eventually that’s your lucky day if “the right adviser" doesn’t hang up phone on you while you are talking but even if he doesn’t he wont know how to help! Then you have to pay for all this mess because phone call to a technical support is very expensive! All technical support service advisors are in India, Malaysia and somewhere else, but not in London. So if you are not an IT engineer you won’t be able to use service you are paying for and if you want to cancel it you have to pay cancellation charge of £70. Does anyone have same problems as me?

What is the cheapest way to send and receive faxes if you don't have a fax machine?

Can I send and receive faxes with my all-in-one printer that has a fax machine when I don’t have a landline? Is it possible to do that with just a broadband connection

Is there a company online where I can get a fax number and receive faxes through email?

I’m starting a small business online and many of my wholesalers want to fax documents. I don’t want to have to get a landline just to get the couple of faxes that in all reality can and should be sent via email. Does anyone know of an online service that offers to convert faxes to email for you and give you a "fax number" for a small fee? Thanks.

Is it possible to have broadband without an active landline?

My BT bills are enormous (my own fault, I use the phone a lot) and I’ve been wondering whether to do without the landline altogether. I e-mail a lot, and could use my mobile for emergencies.

Would I still be able to have broadband?

How to make a long distance phone call from england to sweden?

I am trying to phone a swedish mobile from an english landline but it does not work. I have used the 0046 and then the rest of the number. I have tried every way i know to ring this number. The furthest i have got is some sort of swedish operator that talks for 10 seconds and then goes dead and hangs up. Please tell me how do i phone this mobile as it is very important.
