I have a GPS powered by SMART2GO
(NOT a mobile phone)
with maps and it is working pretty well but the maps are about 8 months old and I keep finding that roads have altered since the map was installed.
I have tried going to smart2go.com but it is totally unhelpfull. It is all geared for phones.
Has anybody else had this problem and how did you solve it?

I currently use the big bulky tomtom go 300 and it always seems to loose connection and last time I dealt with tomtom customer service they didn’t give me customer service…. instead I got grief and had to end up buying a new sd card and maps.
I want to go for the right nav software for the nokia n95. So far I know of co pilot and mobile navigator 6. Are there any other which are free to run like tomtom? I think the nokia n95 runs on symbian or something .. not too sure.

Yesterday, I bought a 7 day GPS navigation license for my N95, which cost me £4.50. As I was all set to leave, I started maps only to be asked to purchase it again. As I was in a hurry, I did. So, I have no paid £9 and the same keeps happening every time I go in. How do I get my license code so I don’t keep paying?

I have a tomtom3 bluetooth + HP iPAQ 1940
tomtom’s website says very little about the Slightly older tomtom3, Can I up grad to tomtom5 software or get up to date maps? Also can I get speed camara locations?
I have a dixons cover plan If my gps receiver or PDA ’stoped’ working would they have to upgrade it to the currant model since it no longer made?

what can you do with nokia maps, is it just like sat nav or do you have to pay to use it to find places

It says you get unlimited downloads but you have to be in one of their wi-fi spots. How much is the Internet outside these spots and do you have to pay for Internet services like maps and email?

I bought a gps in Australia not knowing that its only got maps available for Australia. Is there any way that you can load other maps,for example , Garmin maps onto another make gps or any other maps on to a gps?
