Battlefield 3 News 1.9.12 PS3 VoIP Fix + More

Please, don’t forget to comment, rate, and subscribe! THANKS! :) Question of the day: Which is the best optical scope? The M145 or PK-A? ————————————————————————————————————– Battlefield 3 News: -Battlefield 3 “VoIP Updates for PS3 Next Month” Tomas Danko, VO Producer at DICE… mentioned, “I can say VoIP updates for PS3 next month, but more than that I’ll keep to myself at the moment.” mp1st.com -Battlefield 3 Dev Details Buffs to .44 Magnum, Flash Suppressor, and Bipod Battlefield 3 Developer, Alan Kertz, talks about buffs and fixes for certain weapons as well as goes into more detail regarding the upcoming weapon attachment rebalance. It was recently mentioned that the .44 Magnum could be seeing a buff in the near future. Kertz answered a fan asking this question saying, “it could use some love.” Particularly of concern was the rate of fire and range, rather than stopping power, since it’s already a 2-hit kill at close range. Some players have been reporting a bug that prevents the M9 Beretta (and perhaps other pistols) from firing consistently. Apparently, when firing at a steady rate, a click (pull of the trigger) will not register 100% of the time. So far, it seems to be at random. Kertz has stated that it is a “known issue,” and that there is a “fix coming up.” Lastly, Kertz further clarifies the situation regarding bolt-action rifles. A few players have been asking, “if bolt-actions will get

Kameleon: Smart Fabrics – Future of Mobile Computing

Art Center College of Design, 6th term project for ‘Microsoft Smart Personal Objects (SPOT) Sponsored Project’ with Steve Montgomery. Collaborated with Microsoft’s SPOT Team (led by Dane Howard) and Art Center graduate industrial design students. Forrest Luu. The premise of the project was to design 10 years into the future (which anything can happen) of how humans will interact with information – whether it is ambient, full-on interactive, or passive. Our team pursued the concept direction of smart fabrics. Because of the nature of fabrics and clothing, we believe that it will be the key missing ingredient in ‘humanizing’ technology. Clothing is one of the most intimate products that we use – and integrated with smart, ambient technology – it could be the future platform in which we do mobile computing in a connected world. The video shows various use-case scenarios: (1) Grandson misses Grandma. Scans drawing and sends to Grandma. (2) Wife on a business trip. Mood monitoring. Consolation. Virtual Hug. (3) Son’s first day at school. Mood monitoring. Trust. (4) Mother-to-be. Flowers bloom where baby kicks. Enhanced interaction between husband and wife.

Orlando Ayala on the importance of broadband

Mr. Orlando Ayala Corporate Vice President, Chairman Emerging Markets Microsoft Corporation. ———————– T ranscript ———————– The power of technology to drive a country’s competitiveness is broadly understood and accepted. According to a 2009 report by the World Economic Forum, raising broadband penetration in emerging markets to levels currently in Western Europe could add 300-420 billion dollars in GDP and create 10-14 million new jobs. Information Technology infrastructure, and specifically universal access to sufficient, affordable broadband connectivity is integral to strengthening the local economy and ensuring a sustainable future for individuals and businesses. These technology trends offer an unprecedented opportunity for governments, businesses and citizens to work more efficiently, streamline workflows and services, and ultimately create a more inclusive society. We’re still near the beginning of connecting the world and we collectively need to take a broader and bolder view of how technology can help society thrive. As connectivity optimizes how we work, learn, access healthcare, entertainment and other services, broadband access is a must-have for individuals to reap the benefits. Innovation and partnerships built on a strong IT foundation can improve access to quality services for all. Two trends stand out as great opportunities for industry and government to work together: Cloud Computing and White Spaces. With continued

How do I put songs on a mobile phone from a mac computer?

Are there only certain mobile phones that are compatible with mac computers? As I tried connecting my old samsung phone with my mac OS X via USB but it seemed the software for the phone would only work on a microsoft pc. Therefore I would like to know whether I’m just being stupid and it is actually simple to transfer music to my phone from my mac or whether they are just not compatible. Thank you in advance.
