not one on a contract, doesnt matter if it’s a old phone just need a point to start looking. (not too knowledgable with it when it comes to mobile phones) does anyone know if the GPS features are free to use or you have to pay for them on mobiles?
How do I put songs on a mobile phone from a mac computer?
Are there only certain mobile phones that are compatible with mac computers? As I tried connecting my old samsung phone with my mac OS X via USB but it seemed the software for the phone would only work on a microsoft pc. Therefore I would like to know whether I’m just being stupid and it is actually simple to transfer music to my phone from my mac or whether they are just not compatible. Thank you in advance.

I would like a voip phone from which you can make calls from and recieve calls while you computer is switched off.
I live in UK and want to use voip to make calls to mobile phones and landlines.

I am looking to apply to uni next year, but I don’t know what course to apply for, for what i want to do. Im interested in new advances in technology, such as mobile phones, and devices (ipods etc…) and i am wondering what kind of course at uni i would have to do to land myself in a career focussed on computing hand held devices. I’m doing a thesis on Prostitution in sub-sahara African universities after an article came up in one of Uganda’s local papers concerning this issue. I’m intersted in finding out Why students engage in transactional sex, what the actors and general public think of it and hope to solict possible way of addressing the issue. Some of the reasons forwarded include:
1. to gain better or ‘free’ grades. To do this one has to sleep wit a lecturer or lecturers.
2. to earn money for their daily/weekly up-keep since many on’t posses the requird skills to get job yet,
3. to acquire material benefits like mobile phones, airtime, computes and laptops etc. since they (students) are not working ‘in the field’ yet, they have no money to buy these items. sex with lucrative persons may help them get the things they want.

Chinese Baby Sold to buy New Mobile Phone

A young Chinese couple from the Chongqing Municipality have reportedly sold their newborn baby for 2,500 yuan ($366) and then used the money to buy a new mobile phone.
The story in the Chongqing Economic times tells us that the child’s 19 year old mother, Zhang Yao, met the 21 year old father, Xin, on the internet. Their relationship flourished and Zhang gave birth to a bouncing baby girl in November.
The couple believed that they wouldn’t be able to afford to raise the child and so, only six days after the baby was born, they sold the little girl to a man who gave his name as Li Yong.
Police have said that the child’s parents, Zhang and Xin, were unemployed and spent most of their time on the internet. Their parents were unable to offer any financial support and this led to them deciding to sell their newborn baby girl.
The parents are now reported to have expressed regret that they sold their newborn baby girl and the child’s mother, Zhang, has said that after she was parted from her little girl she kept crying and she would now like to raise a child. The father, Xin, asked police officers if he could now take the baby back from the welfare center where the little girl is currently being cared for.
Welfare center staff have said that the baby is well behaved, has a healthy appetite and is not frightened by strangers.
Police in the Longsha district have said that they hope that the family can be re-united and that the baby will be back with her parents very soon.
Although the selling of children for money is recognized as smuggling, a criminal offence, police are still investigating whether anyone should be held criminally responsible.
This latest shocking story from China is the latest case in which a very young couple have fallen into parenthood without any planning or thought for how they would support their newborn child.
