Being in college means I get to be bombarded with countless papers to be submitted immediately. I wanted to have a little convenience and more efficiency, so I bought myself an SCX-4016 printer by Samsung. Everything was well until I keep getting into some very unlucky situations. Often, I find my toner all used up and there wasn’t anybody who had the specific cartridge I needed. The good part about those situations is that I learned something very useful. There are many Samsung cartridges that work well with Samsung printers. Now every time I’m in that predicament, I already have a replacement in mind. It is the Samsung 4216D3 bulk toner.
This Samsung cartridges is designed to provide sharp and crisp printouts. Its smooth output on paper is proof that it is well made and high in quality. It is evident on the many papers I’ve printed out. I appreciate that the print quality is consistent. I noticed very little difference between the first and last page I print.
The toner cartridge is in monochrome and designed specifically for laser printers just like mine. It has a weight of 2.3 lbs that is fitting for its dimensions which is 12.9 in x 6.6 in x 4.6 in. The cartridge is packed with quality ink as it prints 3,000 sheets. It is also compatible with the Samsung SCX-565P, SCX-4116, SCX-4216F, SCX-755P, SF-560 and SF-750 printers.
Be aware that there are imitations of the Samsung printer cartridges circulating around, although this does not include generic toner. It would be very unlucky for you to loose good money for cheap toner. Avoid these fake toner cartridges. Samsung toner has a security label on it.
Should you choose to purchase Samsung toner, they have a security label. The security label is distinct in that it changes color. At first glance, you will notice that the label changes from clear to cyan. When you look closer, you will see embossed characters that also change color. The color change is between gold, blue and red which are evident in varying angles. You can feel the texture of the embossed characters for final verification.
Now, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to change the cartridge. I’ve done this many times with no accidents whatsoever. First is to remove the toner cartridge from the pack. Roll the cartridge gently but thoroughly for maximum copies. You can then open the printer’s front cabinet to remove the old cartridge. Slide the new cartridge in until it’s locked in place. You can then close the front cabinet. The printer should be good to go.
Right now, Samsung is making an effort to make a greener planet. They do this by recycling old cartridges. This is a good option in putting your used cartridge to better use. But, of course, you always have the option of recycling the cartridges yourself.
There is rarely any problem when it comes to Samsung 4216D3 cartridge. Many local and online retailers carry Samsung SCX replacement toners. Quality printer toner cartridges is available and can be found with just a little care.

Samsung ML 1710PD Printer With Samsung ML 1710PD Replacement Toner – Great Price And Performance
Posted by 0845 Telephone Numbers in Hardware on March 16th, 2010
Sizing up the Samsung ML 1710PD printer using Samsung ML 1710PD toner quickly reveals a personal monochrome laser printer that delivers good performance, especially when one considers its price. At present, various versions of this handy little printer can be found for between 40 and 60 dollars, with one large website of note offering the printer for about 50 dollars, including shipping. Samsung, the Korean electronics maker, has done a nice job with the printer, it seems.
Samsung has constructed this particular ML printer to be a personal model, which means that it’s fairly compact. In addition, it’s also somewhat stylish and is easy to install, as well as being quite capable of delivering very nice print quality. Samsung has built in a great deal of versatility in terms of the operating systems it can operate with, and most people who’ve used it invariably compliment it on its speed of printing.
The ML weighs in at a trim 15 pounds and its compact size is evidenced by its size (14 by 14 by 8 inches). This can make the ML a perfect model for those needing an unobtrusive printer to sit on a small computer desk or bookshelf, out of the way but still capable of deliver high performance when needed. There’ll certainly be little trouble in moving it around, and the performance characteristics shine through at every turn.
As far as print speed goes, this is a performance aspect where the Samsung ML does itself justice. It can print on A4 paper at about 16 pages every minute and it takes ‘A’ size paper and churns out an additional page in that minute. When it comes to what it can print out on, envelopes, card stock, labels and transparencies, as well as plain paper, all fall under its aegis readily enough.
There’s only one method available when it comes to connecting the Samsung to a computer and that‘s a USB 2.0, although that’s the most popular form of wired technology around anyway. It doesn’t come with its own cable though, so one will have to be procured before it can be hooked up to a Mac or PC. It does, however, come with a toner cartridge and a setup guide, which quickly takes a new user through its features and functions.
When it comes to print quality, the Samsung measures up well, offering 600 dots per inch of resolution. At this level, the print that emerges will look nicely sharp and of high quality. Its print engine helps to ensure that the paper will stand out and with no evidence of blurring, smearing or any other artifact. This is somewhat surprising, given the printer’s cost and the fact that printers at this price point aren’t usually as capable as the Samsung.
The Samsung ML can hold 250 sheets of paper within its single tray and there’s a serviceable output. The Samsung ML 1710PD ink and toner is good for about 3,000 pages and the monthly duty cycle is a robust 15,000 pages per month, meaning that the printer can operate for quite some time before needing either a cartridge swap-out or even any standard maintenance. This is also a bit surprising for a printer in this price range, it must be said.
The Samsung ML 1710PD printer is a nicely-priced personal monochrome laser printer that works well under many different circumstances and situations. It also can run off of Linux, in addition to Mac OS 8.6 and later, as well as several different Microsoft Windows operating systems. Given that it offers high-speed printing at a bargain price, and with nice solid print resolution, there’s little to dislike about the little Samsung that could.
This print resolution is aided by the clarity of the Samsung ML 1710PD printer toner cartridges. Seeming to stop the need for reprints, Samsung toner offers everything the moderate user could wish for, including great toner prices when shopping online.

The Samsung SCX 4521F printer using Samsung SCX 4521F toner cartridge is a multifunctional device priced at around $199. It is marketed towards home and small office users. It works as a printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine. This compact all-in-one device stands 14.5 inches high and has a footprint of 17.2 x 14.7 inches. It is also very easy to move around since it only weighs around 23 pounds.
In the span of one minute, this device can print up to 20 pages. This makes the SCX 4521F an average laser printer. The start up time is approximately five to six seconds. It can just print up to 600 x 600 dpi, which is a bit unexpected since other units in this printer class can deliver 1,200 x 600 dpi.
The scanning capability of this Samsung model is pretty average for a multifunctional device. It has an enhanced resolution of 4,800 x 4,800 dpi. While for the optical it can handle 600 x 600 dpi. It can scan a printing area of 8.2 x 11.7 inches. This means, if you have a legal-size document it will not fit the scanner. The machine also uses the standard 24 bit color depth and 8 bit for monochrome.
For faxing capability, it works better than the other units. It can print up to twenty pages in a minute just with 2 MB memory usage. The scanning resolution of this unit is up to 300 x 300 dpi, which makes it comparable to a regular separate fax machine.
The device can speed dial to a maximum of 90 numbers. The phone and fax are compatible with that of a PABS or PSTN system. Users can also program 10 numbers to the one-dial feature of the unit.
This Samsung SCX 4521F printer toner cartridges has a duty cycle of forty two hundred pages each month. It is powered by 16 MB memory. The noise of this device is acceptable when it’s just starting up, however, it is quite a bit noisier than some others when printing.
Software and drivers can support ME, XP and Windows 98. It is also compatible with Linux and Mac OS X 10.3 operating systems. The device can only be connected through a USB, which makes it a problem for individuals who have limited USB slots. Networking is impossible for this device since it doesn’t have any wireless adapter or Ethernet.
A great thing about this $200 all-in-one device is that it has a two line liquid crystal display or LCD. This makes it very easy to pinpoint any problems that may arise. You do not have to check the manual to understand the flash codes. With all these features, it only uses around 350 watts of power. This makes it a power efficient device that can handle multiple functions. It also has an Energy Star compliant sleep mode that only uses up 10 Watts.
The Samsung SCX 4521F printer is really a great multifunctional device for basic documents. However, it is not suggested for scanning and sending photos. It is true that the faxing capacity is better compared to the other models, but it does not have the facility to depict colors very well. Other than that, it does not have the connectivity that users can get from a $200 multi-functional device. This is indeed a good option for average users.
There is nothing average about the SCX 4521F printer toners as anyone familiar with Samsung toner knows it always performs. Order replacement toner online for competitive pricing and great savings.

Samsung ML 1630 Printer Using Samsung ML 1630 Printer Toner Cartridges – Stylish Personal Printing
Posted by 0845 Telephone Numbers in Hardware on March 14th, 2010
The Samsung ML 1630 printer using ML 1630 replacement toner is device taken from the SCX 4500. It is sleek and affordable. For around $200, you can get a basic monochrome laser printer that looks like it came from a sci-fi novel. It is a little expensive, but the design is what makes it worth the money. This is perfect device for a high-end home or office. If you have a nice home, the last thing you need is an ugly and bulky laser printer that does not go well with the decor.
It has a footprint of 13.1 x 14.8 inches and is around 4.8 inches tall. The machine has a very basic touch sensitive power and cancel button. However, if you want to turn off the device, you will have to reach the device’s backside to find the power button, which is a little inconvenient for most. The blue LED will light up every time you print and it can even show you how many pages were printed.
It has a transparent paper tray that holds 100 sheets. The tray’s capacity is a little small if you compare it to other laser printers. In addition, the printer has issues with thick media and it cannot accommodate legal size paper.
The package includes a 1,000 page yield Samsung ML 1630 toners. However, a brand new standard 2,000-page toner can cost around $70. On the average, the print cost is approximately 3.5 cents per page. This is rather high for a laser printer. Other printers can offer 2.7 cents per page or less. If you print a lot, you might want to stay away from this printer since it is a bit expensive to use.
The machine can print 17 pages per minute for graphics, which is the average speed of a printer in its class. The Samsung ML 1630 was either slightly slower or on par with most printers we have tested against it.
The device’s printing quality was better than most of its counterparts. The text and graphics were sharp and clear. Even if you print a dark grayscale picture, you will not even notice the compression.
It has a 150 MHz processor and 8 MB memory that is able to cater to basic printing needs. The machine can reach a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 600 dpi. The resolution is somewhat limited compared to other printers that offer 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
The Samsung 1630 has applications and drivers that support a variety of operating systems. It supports Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. The Linux operating system is also supported by the application. And, of course, it will work on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. USB, or Universal Serial Bus, is the only way to connect the printer to a computer. In addition, it does not have a built-in Ethernet, which makes networking a little bit costly since you have to buy additional hardware. You may need to spend $50 or more for the additional hardware.
Overall, the Samsung ML 1630 printer is a good buy for people who do not want a bulky and ugly laser printer in their home. As for the features, it is a bit limited compared to a printer under the same price range. It is a choice between sleek style of the ML 1630 printer or the features and capacity of the bulky ones.
While not high on features, the ML 1630 printer toner cartridges certainly provides professional-appearing documents. Replacement Samsung toner can be found online for truly competitive prices from any reputable toner dealer.

Samsung Ml 1440 Printer – Economy And The Level Of Quality In A Single Machine
Posted by 0845 Telephone Numbers in Hardware on March 10th, 2010
Before anything else, allow me to provide a few facts on the Samsung ML 1440 printer. It was designed to produce excellent black and white printouts with the Samsung 1440 printer toner cartridges and 600 x 600 dpi resolution. This feature is coupled with a 15 ppm capacity. It has a ready USB port as its main way to connect to computers and the device supports different operating systems. Lastly, the printer has a boxy appearance and weighs about 24 lbs.
I was an inkjet printer user, but after a few incidents with my daughter’s school work, I decided to make a change. You see, on most days she needs to produce numerous print-outs of reports and projects. On a busy school night, she would print 20-30 pages. Unfortunately, half of these end up in the trash because of mistakes. I try not to be critical of her toner usage since it’s all for school, but sometimes I can‘t help but wince at the costs. After a while, I realized I was already spending a lot on Samsung toners alone. So I purchased the Samsung printer from a friend’s recommendation, for $380.
Like I said, I was skeptical about it. It was a little expensive compared to my inkjet printer, not to mention that with the inkjet I could print in color. It didn’t very long for me to realize how good its features are. The boxy shape of the printer creates a sturdy appearance. It has paper storage under the printer, which is very convenient. The lack of extensions supporting the paper tray saves me from worrying I might break a part of it.
The USB port connection was easy enough to figure out as I only needed to plug in the cable. I’m not computer savvy, so I was glad they included an installation manual in the package. I was also glad the printer is compatible with my Windows XP. It’s actually one of the things I didn’t consider when I bought the machine.
In order to put my curiosity at bay, I conducted a little test. I created a document with the words “new printer” on it and set it up to size 10 font. I know the font was small, but I reasoned that if the output was good then so is the printer. Also, I did not want to use so much ink on just a test. Indeed, my new printer delivered 15 printouts in a minute.
It was incredible how sharp the characters were despite the really small font size. My knowledge of printers is quite limited, but I believe it’s because of the 600 x 600 dpi resolution. Also, it didn’t leave any blotches on the paper. The sheets looked really clean, which is a plus on my daughter’s projects.
“Toner save” is the best feature. It gives me an option to save 40% on toner usage. My daughter and I use this all the time since even when reduced to 50%, the quality is still good. It is the perfect way to save on toner.
Sure, the Samsung printer doesn’t print in color, but it’s rare that I would find the need for it. The printer is efficient, convenient and economical in the use of toner. These are basically every quality I need in a printer. The Samsung ML 1440 printer has made a good and lasting impression on my family.
When I needed to replace the Samsung ML 1440 toner cartridge, my first thought was to search online for Samsung printer toner. Wow! So many quality sites and the prices for compatible toners were fantastic!
Samsung 1410 Printer: Inexpensive Small Scale Printing
Posted by 0845 Telephone Numbers in Hardware on March 10th, 2010
The Samsung ML 1410 printer using Samsung 1410 ink and toner is a low cost, easy to use, personal monochrome laser printer that is now discontinued. It is a very basic black and white printer that is great for printing simple text documents that have no color graphics. There has been some confusion about the ML 1410 that stems from the fact that it is a special edition of another Samsung printer – the ML 1510. Both printers have the same electronics and use the same toner cartridges and print drivers. The ML 1410 is a good solid entry level printer. It has dimensions of 13.7″ x 14″ x 7.6″ and weighs only 15.5 pounds.
This Samsung printer produces high quality text output. There have been reports of banding on printing of grayscale graphics, particularly with PDF documents. It can print up to 12 pages per minute with a maximum resolution of 600 dpi x 600 dpi. The monthly duty cycle is 10,000 pages. Customer feedback indicates that this device has a long warm-up period that can take up to one minute.
All the common media types will print, including plain paper, cards, envelopes, transparencies and labels. With a total media capacity of 250 sheets, it will print the standard media sizes of folio, legal and letter. It has one auto load paper feeder.
With only one button to turn the printer on and off and two LED lights, the ML 1410 is very simple to operate. Printing functions are directed from the computer. With only one installation disc, getting started is also a breeze. One downside though is the lack of a plug and play function which has caused confusion about the correct print driver to use.
The Windows, Apple Mac and Linux operating systems are all compatible with the ML 1410, giving it a wide appeal with a broad user base. It uses only a USB cable to connect to the computer. There have been reports of compatibility issues with Linux. Once again these stem from the fact that the ML 1410 uses the ML 1510 print driver. Including a plug and play function would have prevented this confusion.
Initially, toner cartridge replacements for the ML 1410 were quite expensive at $83.00 for a cartridge with a 300 page capacity. The prices have come down significantly. Despite the fact that this particular model is discontinued, Samsung ML compatible toners can be found on the internet for between $30 to $45.
Feedback from owners of this Samsung printer has been generally favorable. Since this printer is extremely low priced, customer expectations are low. Most problems have concerned confusion concerning what driver to use. Many do not realize that the ML 1410 is essentially the same as the ML 1510. There is good support for this printer on the Internet with manuals and documentation in PDF format readily available for download.
For those who only need a simple black and white laser printer the Samsung ML 1410 printer is a good deal. It produces high quality black and white text output. It is easy to use and to maintain and you won’t find a much better price.
Although this printer has been discontinued, you will easily find Samsung ML 1410 replacement toner from any online vendor who offers Samsung ML laser toner. Local retailers may not carry every type of toner and ink cartridges, which makes Internet-based sellers a great option.
