iPod Touch 1G PHONE sleeve for VoIP

This is an idea that Jason came up with and submitted it to Touchmods. The folks over at www.mangodoo.net are working on making this come to life and hope to have them ready in January of 2009. Here is their site where they feature this info: www.mangodoo.net They also have a few other interesting things on their agenda in the future. So I take no credit for this idea, I simply have been working on making my own for quite some time now and I’ve finally come up with a pretty solid prototype. I used the plastic piece that comes in the box with your ipod touch, its the plastic piece that your ipod sits on and has a hole in the middle that shows “ipod 16GB” or whatever, I cut it to size, and taped the wiring on the back along with my speaker. The first application I used was SiP VoIP.app. The phone application where I accessed my contacts was Siphon.app. Both of these applications are available through installer (not the new Siphon App Store) and were created by Touchmods. Sip VoiP seems to come out louder through my speaker but I just realized that Siphon also works through my speaker. Thanks Subscribe! Show your support to the Touchmods team by stopping by www.touchmods.org and checking out the blog and forum and DONATING while your there. Everyone at Touchmods has been working hard to make it possible for people with microphones to use them on 2.0 firmware for VoIP and other recording apps. SUPPORT THEM.
