NetTalk DUO VOIP setup, tips, saves $$$$$$

I though I make a video on my Nettalk Duo. It’s the best thing I ever purchased and I save $$$. I found this device offers exceptional calls at awesome price. Setup is very simple. It does have E911 different from the landline 911 service. Features that I use are call waiting, call ID just to name a few. Canada, long distance and local calls are free. No monthly bills. But there is a year fee around You will need a good high speed internet connection to use this device. You can also send and receive faxes without issues. No PC required but you can also setup to PC. First, you need to disconnect the outside phone jack before installing this device. Second, register the Nettalk online in order to use it. You will pick a phone # from there. See video for more setup and tips.

How do you fix a telephone line crossover problem?

We are a company with multiple phone lines. Ever since the beginning of 2007, after some strong Santa Ana winds in Southern California, we have been experiencing a crossover problem with a few lines on our phone.
When we are on the phone, we occasionally hear an intercom system from one particular company. We never get the name of the company. We just hear people broadcasting over the intercom calling for so and so person to report to so and so department.
We have called Verizon telephone company to come and check, they found nothing. We even tried the Edison power company, they were no help. We have called several of our neighboring buildings asking them if they have an intercom system that calls out those specific requests, they all said no.
The problem is getting louder and more frequent. We can hardly even hear our own phone conversations because of the cross over.
Does ANYONE have any idea???? Help!

Google And Verizon Make Broadband Proposal Which Many Call Evil

“Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Verizon (NYSE:VZ) unveiled a proposal to maintain an open internet while simultaneously creating a room for a broadband network of premium services. The proposal doesn’t have legal filings behind it yet, but it’s a paper on network neutrality for consideration by Congress and the Federal Communications Commission. Network neutrality states that broadband providers shouldn’t be permitted to discriminate or restrict web traffic based on content. No matter what the status is of the legality behind the document, the fact that two major technology corporations involved in the discussion has backed this proposal means it could very well sway discussions about the future of broadband internet in the US. Thus far, reactions to the proposal have been very negative, with the Huffington Post’s headline saying “”Google Goes ‘Evil’.”" FCC Commission Michael J. Copps said he sees the proposal as a call for the FCC to start implementing its “”authority over broadband telecommunications,”" in an effort to protect the interests of its users. Meanwhile, Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) VP for Global Policy Paul Misener, said to the NYT that it seems to “”condone services that could harm consumer internet access.”" SmarTrend is bullish on shares of Google andour subscribers were alerted to buy on July 12, 2010 at 5.26. The stock has risen 5.7% since the alert was issued. SmarTrend is bullish on shares of Verizon Communications and our subscribers were alerted to buy on July
